How do I resolve a “WaveShaper communication error” in WaveManager?

WaveShapers require a warm-up time of 10 minutes following start-up in order to meet all specifications.

During this warm-up phase, communication to the WaveShaper may be affected. WaveManager commands sent to the instrument may return a error message which says “WaveShaper communication error (please check connection)”.

To resolve this, please wait until the warm-up period has been completed, restart WaveManager and communication to the instrument will be established.

If after the required warm-up time, communication errors still occur then please contact the Optical Instrumentation Group using the email address waveshaper@finisar.com.
